• Launch quicken and select the account you want to auto reconcile.

The process to Reconcile In Windows

In case quicken doesn’t show all transactions in windows, follow these steps: 

• Open quicken. 
• Tap on the sidebar account section and select the account to perform the reconciliation process. 
• Then, tap on the gear icon located on the top right side of the window. 
• Press Ctrl + R to select Reconcile and enter interest or finance charges. 
• Then, enter the date and amount from the time you start in the ending balance section.

The process to Reconcile Account In Quicken for Mac

 Reconcile Savings/Checking Account: 

• Launch quicken to select the account you want to reconcile. 
• If you have any interest earned, furnace, and bank charges, ensure to add them. 
• Tap on the reconcile button. 
• Moving ahead, select accounts and then tap on reconcile accounts. 
• Then add the date and balance of the first day you want to reconcile from.

Reconcile A Credit Card Account: 

• Launch quicken to select the account you want to reconcile.

• Select accounts and then tap on reconcile accounts from the menu bar. 
• Then add the date and balance of the first reconciliation day in the ending balance section. 
• Next, check off the boxes in the reconciled column for all the transactions shown on your bank statement.

If the Balance Difference is Not Zero:

If your reconcile is not showing zero after all transactions are checked, verify these points: 

• First, check that you have not missed any transaction while adding them, whether a bank internist, service charge, or other. 
• Next, confirm that you did not miss any box unchecked while marking all the transactions. 
• Then, cross the transactions both on your bank statement and register. Ensure that none of it falls outside the ending dates of reconciliation. 
• Then, drag down the date indicator to add the transactions left in this process. 
• Lastly, ensure that you have added the correct starting and ending balances.
